In a world when travel is tricky, DESIGN Canberra’s Hotel Partner, Midnight Hotel, Autograph Collection has created travel packages designed to help guests relax, recharge, and reconnect.

In keeping with our 2020 festival theme of ‘care’, the hotel’s ethos of authentic design, accessible guest amenities and thoughtful inclusions, demonstrates the value and importance of care in travel.

Adjusting to the tightening pandemic travel restrictions, Midnight Hotel’s calm commitment to clean has highlighted to guests that the hotel team is mindful of a dramatically changing environment, that comes with dramatically changing guest focus and requirements.

In an effort to provide a safe space, with well-curated self-care experiences, they’ve designed a suite of accommodation packages to suit all tastes. Rest assured, post-stay, you’ll feel relaxed, recharged and reconnected. Plus, you’ll experience the added bonus of having stayed in a boutique hotel, designed by acclaimed Australian designers Fender Katsalidis, surrounded by commissioned artwork from Australian artists, makers and creators.

Staycation Package

Includes one night’s accommodation in a stylishly appointed premium guest room, a bottle of local bubbles on arrival, a complimentary mini bar, free STAYCAST by Google Chromecast in-room entertainment, a light breakfast delivered to your room and complimentary parking.

Wine and Dine Package

Includes one night’s accommodation in a stylishly appointed premium guest room, dinner for two in Braddon Merchant, dine in or in-room breakfast, a complimentary mini bar with the addition of two night cap bottled cocktails, free STAYCAST by Google Chromecast in-room entertainment, and complimentary parking.

Family Escape Package

Includes one night’s accommodation in an interconnecting suite, hot chocolate on arrival for the kids, a Braddon Merchant breakfast for two adults and two children, a complimentary mini bar, late check out, free parking, a 50 dollar credit for use at Braddon Merchant, and two kids activities courtesy of the National Portrait Gallery.
