Design Canberra Photography Competition

What you need to know

DESIGN Canberra proudly presents a photography competition on Instagram celebrating Canberra’s mid-century modernist architecture.

Canberra’s architecture from the 1950s and 1960s was created as part of a search for a more functional, simple and authentic form. It’s also a great source of photographic inspiration.

The competition has been made possible by the generous support from festival sponsors, Radford College and University of Canberra as well as our many prize sponsors.

Entry is easy! Follow @designcanberrafestival on Instagram and upload your photo with the hashtags #designcanberra #dcphotocomp and either #student(Years 7-12) or #open (Over 18).
Photographs should consider light, space, volume, void and material.
Competition closes 12 October. Winners announced at the Creative Careers event on 2 November at the award-winning senior school, Radford College.
