Fine Wine and Menu Design

Join Midnight Hotel, Autograph Collection for Immersion: Cause and Effect – an event taking place on Saturday 21 November at Midnight Bar, as part of the 2020 DESIGN Canberra Festival.

In keeping with this year’s theme of ‘care’, Immersion: Cause and Effect attendees will spend the afternoon immersing themselves in the process of mindful menu design, andexperiencing firsthand the joy that comes from carefully pairing food with wine, in meaningful ways.

The event will be led by Midnight Hotel Executive Chef, Andrew Morrow, who has built a successful career upon asteadfast passion for food and wine, and a deep appreciation of these two separate elements working harmoniously together to create something spectacular.

Immersion: Cause and Effect attendees will taste a selection of wines against individual ingredients ranging in flavour, texture, and acid profile, in search of a unique match.

The ‘cause and effect’ process may even inspire the menu for future dinner events to take place within the Midnight precinct.

Discussion, drinks, and canapés will follow the afternoon’s official proceedings, easing guests into the early evening with their newfound, or perhaps reinvigorated, appreciation for mindful menu design and curation.

The intimate nature of the Immersion: Cause and Effect event means that bookings are essential, and places limited, so secure your spot now by clicking here, or by contacting Midnight Hotel directly on (02) 6220 0000.
