Remembering Enrico Taglietti

Vale Enrico Taglietti (1926-2019).

We are saddened to hear of the passing of acclaimed architect and our friend, Enrico Taglietti. We paid tribute to the architect and his work, poetics, personal style and contribution to the nation’s capital in DESIGN Canberra in November 2018. We were honoured to have received Enrico’s blessing to present these programs and are grateful that the great man and his beloved family could attend and participate in so many of the programs to hear, first-hand, about his valued contribution to our city and our lives.

The successful festival program brought Enrico’s thoughtful detailing, aesthetics and sense of place to the attention of a broader audience of designers, design enthusiasts and the wider community. To pay tribute to Enrico, we will share some of our festival highlights with our community over the next week.
